These tasty little biscuits have been very illusive. I’ve been searching for them for nearly a year, having been told they were gluten and dairy free by my allergy specialist. I eventually tracked them down in a health food shop, and both I and my husband tried them.
They don’t contain dairy in the ingredients but the allergy information does state that they may contain milk and nuts. I do have quite a severe allergy to dairy but I felt these should be OK. Perhaps I was being a little gung-ho but I suffered no reaction whatsoever.
We both agreed that they taste really similar to any normal wafer biscuits. You wouldn’t know they were gluten free at all. At first I wasn’t sure about them, but they definitely grew on me. We polished off the whole pack in no time and I would definitely buy them again, they would be especially great for kids because they’re quite sweet and the pink panther and pink colour are both quite fun and appealing on the packet. It doesn’t look like most gluten free products where the packaging can all look very similar.
