Free Food, Mood & Symptoms Diary
Do you think you are reaction to certain foods but are not sure how to pin point exactly what? It can be very difficult to test for food allergies and intolerances, but there are skin and blood tests available. If you can’t get an appointment with an allergy specialist, or even if you can, it can be interesting and helpful to document the everything you eat and drink. It will really help a dietician or your doctor identify any potential food triggers.

Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) Factsheet for Doctors
I created this to give to my dermatologist, doctor and the nurses who administered my UVB treatment to help me explain what I was doing and why.
It explains what TSW is, how the process of withdrawal works, symptoms and includes links to useful studies, videos and research.
It also includes information on doctors who recognise this condition.
Currently topical steroids and topical immuno suppressants are being wrongly subscribed and TSW is not recognised amongst the medical profession. Please help me spread the word.
I hope this document will be of use to some of you. Please download for free.
Anaphylaxis Action Plan
There are Action Plans available to download from
It’s important to carry this with your adrenaline auto-injectors, update it when things change and keep a copy on your computer.
I decided to create one of my own that I could edit and add to, and have done this now for many years. I think adults should carry them as well as children so that anyone who is with you can understand what’s required.
50 x Food Challenge
This challenge will hopefully help you explore new foods, which can be hard to when you have allergies and become wary of certain foods or set in your ways, only eating the same kinds of foods each week.
This really helped me to find my love of food again, experiment with different fruits and and vegetables and find some adventure. When you go shopping step outside the normal stuff you buy and try something new. Even though you still need to be alert, check ingredients on labels and check when eating out, getting some variety and playing in the kitchen gave me back a feeling of control and fun. What I cook and eat at home is completely safe and yet challenge my taste buds.
Eat the rainbow challenge!
Similar to the 50 foods challenge above, this rainbow foods game should help you get a balanced diet with all the nutrients and minerals you need. If you look at processed foods, most of it is lacking in any colour and if it is coloured it’s artificial added colours. As my Mum calls it, beige food! Step away from the processed stuff and buy something from each colour of the rainbow. The more you do this the more you’ll challenge your taste buds. It’s also a fun one to do with your kids. You might not enjoy everything you try but you’ll also fine some new foods you love! I promise you that!
Free Guided Meditation for the skin
I’ve found the power of learning to sit, to reduce my breathing, to relax and to just be still incredibly powerful in helping me to get through the day, ride out itchy moments and learn to accept my current situation and stop fighting to get better, to heal quicker, to stop itching.
