Sainsbury’s withdraws all date codes of Sainsbury’s Ground Almonds 100g and 200g due to undeclared traces of peanut.
Whitworths Ltd withdraws all date codes of Whitworths Ground Almonds 100g, 150g and 1kg due to undeclared traces of peanut.
ASDA withdraws all date codes of its own brand ‘Chosen By You’ Ground Almonds 150g due to undeclared traces of peanut.
The product contains traces of peanut, which have not been declared on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
The above companies have withdrawn the above products from sale. Customer notices have been displayed in stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the withdrawal and to explain the actions they can take if they have purchased this product.
Customers with an allergy to peanuts are advised not to eat this product, but to return it to the nearest Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Whitworths or ASDA store, dependent on where you purchased the product, for a full refund.
